Get off of the fence!

The enemy knows that God has given us a choice, we can choose life which He gives freely through His Son Jesus Christ, or persons can choose death, which is the wages of sin. The enemy knows that not choosing is choosing, it’s choosing him, so he loves those neutral and indifferent people.

There is absolutely no middle ground between good and evil, light and dark, truth and lies. There is no grey area where a person can go to be safe. Straddling the fence isn’t noble, virtuous, prudent, praiseworthy, or evidence of impartiality or balance, it’s cowardly, it’s a form of hiding from what you really feel on an issue so you won’t face ridicule. Either go left or go right, none of us can stand at the fork in the road forever, we have to pick a side, pick a path (narrow or broad) and it’s best to do so right away. We are advised in scripture to chose the narrow path because it is the (only) path that leads to life. “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” Matthew 7:13-14.

If you’re for God then be for God and all that He stands for, without corrupt reasoning when it comes to His word. Give your entire self over to His will, give your entire self over to the truth. If you’re for the enemy then do not pretend to be on God’s side, you may be able to fool some people, but you cannot fool God, He can see straight through a double minded person, He hates double mindedness. This question from Elijah still needs to be answered today, “How long will you waver between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow him; but if Baal is God, follow him.” ” 1 Kings 18:21

  1. Hi Sateigdra! Great blog this one. You are one of the few writers like myself, in that you are intelligent, thoughtful but also direct. A great combination for a writer.

Could you please add my blog to this blogroll??
